Explanation:

Signed on August 23, 1939, by Ribbentrop and Molotov, with Stalin also present, the pact also stipulated not attacking each other, nor support other´s attack upon the other party, to keep open consultation about their common interests, and not joining others directly or indirectly menacing the other one.
