Answer:

$13,780

Explanation:

For computing the overhead applied first we have to determine the predetermined overhead rate which is shown below:

Predetermined overhead rate = Total overhead cost ÷ Machine hours

= $810,900 ÷ 1,530 machine hours

= $530

Now the amount of overhead applied is

= predetermined overhead rate × number of machine hours used

= $530 × 26 machine hours

= $13,780

By multiplying the predetermined overhead rate with the number of machine hours used we can get the amount of overhead applied

Answer:

The total liabilities amounts to $200,000

Explanation:

The total liabilities of Asmine Smith is computed as:

Total Liabilities = Owing on Condo + Owning a Car

where

Owning on Condo is $190,000

Owning a Car is $10,000

Putting the values above:

= $200,000

Note: Sum Insured under the Insurance Policy, is neither a liability nor assets. And Premium paid is an expense, will be treated as Current Assets.

On June 1, Aaron Company purchased equipment at a cost of $120,000 that has a depreciable cost of $90,000 and an estimated usefu
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

It is $30,000(C)

Explanation:

Depreciable cost = $90,000

Using straight-line method,

Annual depreciation = $90,000/3

                                  = $30,000.

Hence, depreciation expense at the final year of service is $30,000

We cannot make use of entire cost of equipment of $120,000 because it seemed the company wanted to sell its scrap value for  $30,000. Hence, this has been used to reduced it cost to $90,000 which is a depreciable cost .
