I create distractions from that thing, or I can make it impossible for me to do that thing. For instance, if I have to finish a homework assignment due in the morning but I also want to play Subway surfers on my phone (the tempting thing), I turn off my phone and put it in the other room. Or, I can think of all the wonderful things that I can do without having to wish for it and convince myself that those wonderful things are way better than playing Subway Surfers. I hope that made sense. Please ask follow up questions!

Do you guys feel we’ve achieved full “equality” with regard to race?
NARA [144]
I’m not sure what text you are reading but we haven’t achieved full equality yet with race, there are still forms of segregation and racism in everyday activities that should be easy for people of color as they are for quite people.

What do prepositions mean ?

When used before a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase, a preposition expresses direction, time, place, location, spatial relationships, or the introduction of an object. Prepositions include the words such as "in," "at," "on," "of," and "to." English prepositions are frequently idiomatic.

Simple prepositions are short words we employ before nouns or pronouns to show how they relate to the noun in question. The two categories of simple prepositions are time and place. Simple, double, compound, participle, and phrase prepositions are the five different types of prepositions.

What’s the central idea of Mike kubic's article The salem (and other) witch hunts ?
Travka [436]

The central idea of Mike kubick's article 'The salem (and other) witch hunts' was to show how people, mainly women, were chased by the Church and obliged to confess crimes they hadn't committed. All this hunt was made 'in the name of God' and it was very difficult to escape or to think about denouncing the problem to authorities since they were the same people that committed such an abominable act.
