The Americans hated Dictatorships and pretty much any nation that was not '"Free". so this means they Did not support the Ideals of The Soviet Union, the warsaw pact, Or any Communist/ Facist Government
I believe it was France in the D-Day Invasions, that was a massive assault on the beaches and ended in the Allied forces pushing through the Nazi defenses.
