The delivering of weapons, food, and medical supplies to the American troops in Europe was not the easiest thing to do. The European Theater was in chaos, and danger lurked everywhere, so delivering anything to any spot was anything but safe, as a surprise attack was always a possibility. Also, the Atlantic Ocean needed to be crosses, and ti is the second largest body of water on the planet, so it was a long way to go, and plus not cheap at all. The troops were constantly on the move, so that also represented problem, as they were getting more and more into the interior of the continent, so apart from having to deliver things further away, the danger was also increasing as the enemy lines were always close.

katrin2010 [14]

The protesters in Greensboro were generally Afro-Americans.

Explanation:

  • From the moment in February 1960, when four black students walked into a white shop in Greensboro, North Carolina, and did not want to go out until their owners served them, a series of protests and boycotts of the American Human Rights Movement pointed to racism and ethnicity. discrimination as a major US problem.

anygoal [31]

Egypt and Kush civilizations had many similarities.

Both of them were situated in Africa. The former in the north and the Kush in the south. They both lived along the river Nile.

They both built pyramids, but the Kushian ones were very steep.

Both of them had similar religious believes and worshiped the same Gods.

Besides, they both used hieroglyphics as a way of writing.

Apart from the similarities, for hundreds of years their relationship was mainly based on economics.

Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey, not the bald eagle, to be our country’s symbol. If you had the opportunity to help decide o
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

I would pick lion

Explanation:

I would have chosen lion as our nation's symbol. Lion can represent multitude of things such as strength, justice, fearlessness, and power! All of these were part of the US when colonies first united and fought against british. Lion also resembles a great military might and US has this even to this day and had this during old times as well as evident by our win against the notorious british regime.

Having a lioness to be part of country's symbol also resembles being caretakers as a great mother providing protection. US has mostly been a safe refuge for people seeking the protection of its warmth and security. The colonists came to US mainland (although not orginally called US) for better life thus lioness or lion are great symbols.
