Another citizen who supports the new strip mall is Jerome Washington. Washington gave an impassioned plea to commissioners to al

low the development of the commercial facility. Washington spoke about his failing delicatessen business located a few blocks from the proposed building site. Washington, who gave the most convincing speech of the night, eloquently stated that the new development would bolster business. He claimed that the strip mall would increase foot traffic in the area, which would help his shop and other ailing establishments.
The article does not quote Jerome Washington's speech in its entirety. But if it did, which statement would serve as the most effective conclusion to Mr. Washington's plea?
A) Please allow the builders to build this strip mall because it will really help my business a lot.
B) If you allow these builders to build this strip mall, then I know things will get better for me, at least.
C) Whatever you do, ladies and gentleman, do not allow this corporate monstrosity to be built near hard-working small businesses.
D) This strip mall will not only help me, ladies and gentlemen, but help all other struggling businesses in this difficult economy.

Which of the following sentences is missing a hyphen?
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

Here's the answer to the best of my ability..

You're asking for what sentence is missing a hyphen and I see nothing wrong with the one sentence that doesn't have a hyphen.

But if you're asking for what sentence is using a hyphen incorrectly then option B is your answer because machine gun doesn't need a hyphen.

If you're asking which sentences are using the hyphen correctly then option's A, and C are your answer.

If you're the question you asked has no mistakes then the best answer would be option D because that's the only option without a hyphen.

Hope this helps.
