Among the United States regions, the Western Region is the largest, covering more than half of the total land of that country. The US Western Region is celebrated for his independent and heterogeneous politics. Historically, it was the first region at which widespread women's suffrage occurred, and nowadays it has almost equally proportions of democratic and republican party affiliations of governors, attorneys general, state legislative houses, and U.S. congressional delegations.
The West is most politically diverse in the United States than any other region in America because of its wide region, which allowed millions of people to settle with different communities. The entire Western region is known for the strong influence of European, Hispanic, African Americans, Asian and Native Americans. The Westside of American continues to show a greater political influence because of policies since the 18th century. In the 1850s, the West saw political conflict on the issues of slavery into the western territories.
It created a barrier between the United States territory to the east of the river and English territory to the west. It connected them directly to the French in New Orleans, their biggest supporters during the war.
