What did the United States hope to achieve with its air war in Vietnam?

History

5 0
The four objectives of the operation (which evolved over time) were to boost the sagging morale of the Saigon regime in the Republic of Vietnam, to persuade North Vietnam to cease its support for the communist insurgency in South Vietnam without actually taking any ground forces into communist North Vietnam, to destroy North Vietnam's transportation system, industrial base, and air defenses, and to cease the flow of men and material into South Vietnam. Attainment of these objectives was made difficult by both the restraints imposed upon the U.S and its allies by Cold War exigencies and by the military aid and assistance received by North Vietnam from its communist allies, the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China

True or False: The exodus of wealthy loyalists led to a more equitable distribution of wealth in the postwar United States.
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

The Loyalist exodus, economically speaking, served partially to finance the expenditures of the Revolutionary war. Some Historians count them 50,000 people and divide them into two branches: fervent and mild loyalists.

Still, in economics, The people must be able to generate wealth in a sustainable (constant) way to achieve a more equitable distribution of wealth in any given country.

Why is it important adding the bill of rights to the constitution
tino4ka555 [31]
The Anti-Federalists insisted that a Bill of Rights be added to the Constitution because they believed that this document would give far too much power to the federal government--making it tyrannical. Therefore they wanted to ensure that the most fundamental human liberties would be protected by adding these amendments.

After world war 1, why were conditions ripe for social and political change in Russia, but not in the united states
solmaris [256]
Russia’s heavy losses in WWI quickened existing calls for a political revolution against the tsar, as corruption and economic stagnation left millions of Russians in misery. By contrast, America’s economy was booming during the same period, largely due to a system of free enterprise. Political “radicalism” and especially Russian “Bolshevism,” then, were seen as unnecessary and dangerous.
