Answer:

Find explanation below.

Explanation:

Dennis Chavez was the first Hispanic to be elected as Senator in the United States. He was officially elected as Senator in the year, 1936. Major concerns addressed by him during his position as Senator include; racial discrimination of minorities in the work environment due to race or their origins, as well as the improvement of the National Defense system.

He proposed the Fair Employment Practices Act of 1944. At the time, this bill was rejected. But he eventually succeeded in championing the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which was passed into law by the house.

Notable also was his role in securing research facilities, and armaments for the United States Military. He valued the military forces and believed that it was necessary that they be prepared at all times.

The four black college students who in 1960 began lunch counter sit-ins to protest white-only laws would belong to the:_________
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

Post -conventional level of morality.

Explanation:

The post-conventional level is a moral development in individuals. People in this stage of development are involved with the rights and controlled by their ethical beliefs.

Segregation was common in the South because of Jim Crow laws, which kept public buildings like libraries, restaurant, lunch counters, parks, theatres, and swimming pools segregated. The sit-in protests drew public attention to these inequities.
