Answer:

The best answer to the question: What does he recommend to solve the problem? When talking about the problem of the poor people in Ireland and preventing them from being a burden to their parents, and society in general, would be: to eat them all in different preparation styles, especially before the year mark, as at that time they are at their best and most delicious point, and thus stop the problem of poverty and financial difficulties for the poor, especially in Ireland. He also proposes what can be done with different parts that are not edible, but that can still be used beneficially.

Explanation:

"A Modest Proposal", also known as "A Modest Proposal for Preventing the Children of Poor People From Being a Burthen to Their Parents or Country, and For Macking them Beneficial to the Publick" is a satirical essay that was written by Jonathan Swift and which was published in 1729. In the essay, Swift ironically proposes ways in which different issues might be solved in the England of his time, especially with the poor. Through the essay Swift mocks the way that some English throw away proposals for problem solving, especially when it comes to encumbering them as little as possible. One problem that he wishes to solve, like other Englishmen, is the issue of poor people, particularly in Ireland. Thus, he makes a most outrageous proposal, and that is for poor parents to sell their children to the rich in England, as children, especially young ones, are really a treat, and could serve a dual purpose of preventing further burdens on their parents, and feeding society.

Descriptive writing
persuasive writing
autobiographical writing
biographical writing
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

The primary purpose of descriptive writing is to describe a person, place or thing in such a way that a picture is formed in the reader's mind. Capturing an event through descriptive writing involves paying close attention to the details by using all of your five senses.

Persuasive writing intends to convince readers to believe in an idea or opinion and to do an action. Many writings such as criticisms, reviews, reaction papers, editorials, proposals, advertisements, and brochures use different ways of persuasion to influence readers.

An autobiography is a non-fiction story of a person's life, written by the subject themselves from their own point of view. Certain autobiographical writing, such as Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, can endure for well over a century and become part of the literary canon.

Biographical writing is a specific form of writing and research that takes as its subject the lives of individuals. As such it concentrates on constructing personal histories, and places them within their social, political and historical context, in order to discover and explain the influences on an individual's life.

In lord of the flies chapter 11, what are Jacks plans for Ralph? What earlier events might have foreshadowed this?
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

After Ralph’s tense, exciting stand against the hunters, the ending of Lord of the Flies is rife with irony. Ralph had thought the signal fire—a symbol of civilization—was the only way to lure rescuers to the island. Ironically, although it is indeed a fire that lures a ship to the island, it is not an ordered, controlled signal fire but rather the haphazard forest fire Jack’s hunters set solely for the purpose of killing Ralph

Read this sonnet, and then complete the sentences that follows. Be not dismayed that her unmoved mind Doth still persist in her
motikmotik

Answer:

1. English

Edmund Spenser is English. He varied the traditional Shakespearean English sonnet form by changing the rhyme scheme which creates couplet links that connect the quatrains together.

2. abab bcbc cdcd ee

Spenserian sonnets repeat the last rhyme as the first rhyme of the next quatrain. This continuation of a rhyme from quatrain to quatrain ties them together more than previous sonnet forms.

3. lasting love

The poet uses phrases like "endure for ever" and "naught but death can sever" to show how long love can last.

4. metaphor

He is comparing the burning oak to the patience it takes when wooing. He does not use like or as which would indicate a simile. Also, the oak is not being given human traits which is required for personification.

5. knot

He compares the depth of love to a knot so tightly tied and tangled that it cannot be undone.
