It was Nicaragua who is the one Sandinista rebels to overthrow the dictator in 1979. The dictator, Anastasio Somoza Debayle, was overthrown from his position because of the Nicaraguan Revolution against him. He fled out of the country and ended up getting assassinated in Paraguay.
