Maybe some folk stories from around here have elves or trolls in them, but certainly not as much as the Icelandic ones. I also wonder I there are some Icelandic folk stories that do not have these common themes in them, Though there probably are. Because we can see a pattern in Icelandic folk tales, I wonder if there is a noticeable pattern in folk stories from around here, but I'll research that later.
