Emergcey War Powers are not including in the constitution.
They wanted America to be a free country, so they encouraged people to come here for a fresh start. They wanted them to be able to be fre in what they chose to do.
People still follow this because there are people today who come here to do exactly that.

I believe the answer is the bill of rights. The bill of rights gave people individual rights. That is why there is a bill of rights in our constitution today. The bill of rights also goes along with our 7th principle of government which is "individual rights". Individual rights are rights guaranteed in the bill of rights
