Use intonation to form question :

a- Il y a <u>un crayon </u>?

b- C'est <u>une gomme</u> ?

c- Il mange <u>une pizza</u> ?

<em>you have to raise the intonation on the last underlined words</em>

Use "Est-ce que" to form questions :

a- Est-ce que c'est le prof ?

b- Est-ce qu'ils vont à la bibliothèque ? <em>(elision : que + ils = qu'ils)</em>
