Answer:

-3 5/6

Here is what i did to solve it.:

-1 2/3 = -5/3, and -2 1/6 = -13/6.  The LCD is 6.

We convert -5/3 to -10/6 and combine this result with -13/6:

-10/6 - 13/6 = -23/6

This last result can be rewritten as -3 5/6.

Hope this help, stay safe and have a nice day! :))))))

Bad White [126]

Answer:

S=\left \{ 0,-1,1,2 \right \}

Step-by-step explanation:

There are several ways to solve this quartic equation. But since the coefficients, they repeat a=1,b=2,c=1,d=2, but e=0, and they are multiple of each other, then it is more convenient to work with factoring as the method of solving it.

As if it was a quadratic one.

x^{4}-2x^{3}- x^{2} + 2x = 0\\x(x^{3}-2x^{2}-x+2)=0 \:Factoring \:out\\x[(x^{3}-2x^{2})+(-x+2)]=0 \:Grouping\\x[\mathbf{x^{2}}(x-2)+\mathbf{-1}(x+2)]=0 \:Rewriting\:the\:first\:factor\\x(x^{2}-1)(x-2)\:Expanding \:the \:first \:factor\\x(x-1)(x+1)(x-2)=0\\x=0,x=1,x=-1,x=2\\S=\left \{ 0,-1,1,2 \right \}

kondaur [170]

Answer:

x = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Jacob has 1/2 of a container of trail mix.

He is filling snack packs that each use about 1/6 of a container

We need to find the number of snack packs can Jacob make. Let he can make x snack packs.

\dfrac{1}{6}x=\dfrac{1}{2}\\\\x=3

Hence, he can make 3 snack packs.
