What Would You Do If You Had A Time Machine? At Least Three Paragraphs

English
1 answer:
NeX [460]4 years ago

Answer:

Explanation:

For decades, time machines have been only a figment of our imaginations. Traveling through time has been every kids dream, and now I can live that dream. There's so many things I would love to do if I had one of these machines. Would I start 10 years ago to meet a celebrity, or millions of years ago to see a dinosaur? The possibilities are endless, but I think I have my mind set.

The first thing I would do with my time machine is go back 20 years ago to the year 2000. I would go here to see what the beginning of this century looked like, before the internet was huge. The second thing I would do is go back to the year 1800 to see cowboys and if the movies about them were accurate. In the 1800's I would also like to travel to a European city and see the victorian style buildings and the royals. The next thing would be seeing the beatles or another famous band in concert. I'd love to see every big name band in their prime.

The last thing I would do with my time machine is see my parents when they were my age. If I could meet them when they were young before they met, that would be amazing. I want to see what life was like for them in the past compared to how it is now. In conclusion, I would love to do a lot of things with a time machine, but I'm sure nobody could fit that into three paragraphs. Seeing the past would be amazing and I would love to learn what life was like before the 21st century.

"Forgetfulness" by Billy Collins. Then answer the question.
Ksju [112]

The correct answer is B. it does not follow a formal structure.

Let us first go through all of these options in order to determine the structural characteristics of Forgetfulness, by Billy Collins.

Option A is incorrect - if you count the syllables in each line, you will see that the first one has 11, the second one 13, and so on - so, not 10.

Option C is also incorrect - there are actually 8 stanzas, and they are not of equal length.

Option D is also incorrect - there are no rhymes in this poem.

So, by the process of elimination, the correct answer is B - this poem doesn't follow a formal structure - it is rather a free verse poem containing stanzas of varying lengths.
