Which was one of Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points?

History

The correct answer is B.

The Fourteen Points was a statement of peace presented by the US President Woodrow Wilson aiming to influence the peace negotiations to end WWI. The other victorious Allied forces considered his proposals as inappicable as they considered them too idealistic.

Wilson wanted to decrease tensions between European countries and inspired his proposals on many progressive ideas that were applied at that time in the US, such as: free trade, open agreements, democracy and self-determination. He thought that such measures could bring partnership feelings and behaviours to countries that formerly were enemies, and could remove tensions forever.

What characteristics of the<br> Xiongnu made them seem barbarian to Chao Cuo?
babunello [35]

Answer:

The Xiongnu were a group of people that differed a lot from the Chinese people. Since the Chinese considered the people that are not Chinese as barbarians, the Xiongnu were classified as such based on numerous things. Unlike the Chinese that were settled, the Xiongnu largely practiced nomadic lifestyle. The Xiongnu also had large beards, which was not a trait of the Chinese society nor was something seen as nice. While China was involved in agriculture, the Xiongnu were involved in herding animals. The physical appearance also differed, as the Xiongnu are believed to have been a mixture of Mongol, Turkic, and Caucasian people, thus making them look much different in general than the Chinese people.
