Catherine the Great's most significant territorial triumph was "the partition of Poland".

Option: B

Explanation:

The most ruling female head of Russia was the Empress of the nation during 1762 to 1796, named as "Catherine the Great". The involvement of foreign lands, more prominently from the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empires by putting efforts to act as a global intermediary in conflicts that could or did lead to conflict. During her reign the Russian territory was incorporated with some 200,000 square miles.

The notion of splitting the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth originated from the Great of Prussia named as Frederick, while Catherine played a prominent role in working it out in three different divisions during 1772, 1793 and 1795. Russia concluded the fragmentation with Prussia and Austria of Commonwealth and thus ceased to survive as a free State.

What might be the benefit and drawbacks to making society more equal
-BARSIC- [3]

Even though people all want to be treated equally, when something benefits someone, that person tends to want to keep those benefits. That's why it was so hard to get rid of slavery. People who are consumed in themselves don't care what others are experiencing. Society being more equal means less chance of competition and fight for getting to the top.

Here is an essay I wrote about Capitalism vs. Socialism in America, and the drawbacks/benefits of both... If that is applicable to what you are trying to do:

As people fight for equity for American citizens, but also to maintain a strong economy, a debate has risen around capitalism and socialism—and which would be better for our country. Our country was founded on capitalistic principles, but this doesn't discount socialism’s merits.

Capitalism has shaped the United States to be strong and to be a place where people can pursue their dreams no matter how big or how small.

Many Americans dream of owning a business. They can pursue these dreams because of the way the United States was built, with a capitalist economy. Through capitalism, people can set goals that parallel the American dream. The free market, along with supply and demand, allows people to construct assets for themselves. This may open doors for people to be wildly successful in pursuit of their dreams, but it also provides opportunities to fail.

Capitalism offers incentives to innovate, but starting a business is much easier if you are rich already. Innovation is driven by the goal of success. A successful person in a capitalist economy will be rewarded for their work. However, through capitalism, people are able to accumulate substantial amounts of wealth through monopolies. Capitalism also creates a divide between the poor and the rich, because the people with money will continue to get ahead, while the people without money will stay impoverished.

Conversely, socialism creates income equality, which allows the people to live in a society in which wealth distribution is fair. Socialism also provides healthcare to every citizen through the government. This is important because poor citizens may be unable to receive adequate healthcare because of financial burden under capitalism.

While these ideals can create a well-rounded society, it also comes at the cost of higher tax rates and capped wages. While some people may have more earning potential, all people would be required to pay more taxes. Shared wealth would be beneficial to those who have made low wages, but would not be as beneficial to those who currently make higher wages.

Capped wages may also discourage giving among citizens who feel they do not make enough to return a portion to society. Another major drawback of socialism is that it would reduce the incentive to work hard in pursuit of earning more, as well as diminish the enticement of innovation and business ownership.

The United States has become a successful world power through capitalism. The United States draws people, even from other countries, to pursue the ideal of the American dream. However, The United States remains unfair for many to live in because of poverty. Since our country contains elements of both capitalism and socialism—and this contributes to our success as a country—elements of both should be combined to create a better, more inclusive society.
