Answer:

Did you know that skateboarding has become one of the three most popular participation sports in the US?

Explanation:

This sentence will get the listeners to think about the value of the project to many of the people who will enjoy a popular sport in the community. More people will come to the area, and that is usually good for business.

The history is interesting, but not exciting. No one wants to increase possibility of injury, so that would have the opposite effect: a reason not to build a skate park.

Which excerpt taken from “Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall is an example of sensory imagery? “brushed her night-dark hair
cestrela7 [59]

The excerpt from “Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall which is an example of sensory imagery is “brushed her night-dark hair.”

“Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall is a poem which is a conversation between a mother and daughter about a 'Freedom March' which will be happening on the streets of Birmingham. The daughter wishes to attend the march but her mother restricts her to go there and tells her about the dangers of going there. Instead, she sends her daughter to Church which is a safe place. But unfortunately, a bombing happens in the church in which the mother finds her daughter dead. She falls prey to the act of racism.

The line“brushed her night-dark hair” appeals to both the sense of touch and sight in the poem.

Sincerely,
