The idea of being a “Protestant” is one who protests, and they did protest. they resisted many ideas of the Catholic church, including (but not limited to) having a pope, praying to dead people (“saints”), statues, ritual of the liturgy, a formal hierarchy, arbitrary and often capricious decisions of the clergy, using religion as a fund raising scheme, abuse of the powers and status of clergy, presuming to supplant the supremacy of scripture, changes of the law, parroted prayers, indulgences, and an uncountable number of other things, not the least of which was torture and killing of many millions of people who disagreed with them. Yes, they protested. They didn’t like that treatment at all. Now, many “Protestants” don’t protest hardly anything the Catholic church does, and the Catholic church in turn has become a much different sort of institution than it was in Luther’s day. Hope this helps <3

A. Italy had close ties to Greek, Roman, and Byzantine culture

Hammurabi's code of laws un dynasty legalism are similar in that both promoted the idea that social laws should be transparent and well know, since only then can the vast majority of citizens be expected to follow them.
The terrorism is an act of violence which basis is a political issue, and it is causing a political response.
The genocide is a systematic killing of people based on their ethnicity, race, or religion.
Example for terrorism is the attack on the twin towers in New York, when both of them were knocked down because of political reasons by Muslim extremists.
Example of genocide is the mass killing of Armenians by the Turks because of their religion and ethnic background.
There can be occasionally confusion about what is terrorism and what genocide, as lot of time both of them can take place in the same time by the same people. Also, some people neglect the definitions on what is what, so often consider a purely terrorist attack as a genocide, especially if a certain group of people was targeted, or a genocide would be considered as a terrorist attack despite being no political reason for the act.
