Were the terms of the Treaty of Versailles fair and justified.??
Fantom [35]
If grade 10 history serves me correctly the Treaty of Versailles actually set the course for WW2 to happen. The Treaty has Germany claim full responsibility for the damages caused by the war and had them paying absolutely huge reparations. This caused them to be producing currency at an extremely increased rate leading to less value in money. This in a way ended up causing the depression that allowed Adolf Hitler to rise up from. (businesses couldn’t afford to stay open, people lost their jobs and couldn’t afford to live.) one of the first things he did was stop paying the reparations. Soooo I think the answer you are looking for is no but I’m not sure the context your assignment is looking for. Hope this helps!

John Locke is an outstanding English philosopher and educator.

In the state, Locke distinguishes three main branches of government: legislative, executive and federal. The legislature, whose function is to develop and approve laws, is the supreme authority in society. It is established by the people and is exercised through the highest elective body. The executive branch monitors the strict and continuity enforcement of the laws, "which are established and remain in force". The federal authority "includes the management of external security and the interests of society." The power is lawful to the extent that it is supported by the people, its actions are limited to the common good.

Why were so few violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act brought to court?
LenKa [72]
There are several reasons why so few violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act were brought to court, but a major reason was that ironically the courts were often corrupted, making it impossible to for them to want to hear about a corruption case.
