Answer:

Catalase is commonly known as a enzyme which can be found in all living creatures.

Catalase has a specific property in regulating a living body, so it takes charge for hydrogen peroxide it has decomposed or not. And after the decomposition process hydrogen peroxide separates and gives us hydrogen and water.

Now if checkup is made to maintain the condition of catalase there is a test conducted in which hydrogen peroxide is added into blood.

So if the blood turns into foamy dark brownish color than there is a deficiency of catalase.

The correct answer is C: loss of chloroplasts.

Explanation:

The parasite would lose chloroplasts. As they absorb nutrients from the fish digest food in the gut of the animal, parasites do not need to photosynthesize any more. There are some parasites in the fishes digestive tract that conserve their motile capacity by keeping their flagellum or cilium. Some species get their membranes thicker for protection in their interaction with the host, and they can also secrete a special capsule. In general, these organisms reproduce asexually.

What process exerts the pull on water molecules that is relayed from leaf to root via cohesion? what process exerts the pull on
marissa [1.9K]

Evaporation of the water is the process that exerts the pull on water molecules that is relayed from leaf to root via cohesion. The pressure of the water present in the leaves becomes less due to evaporation of water. The pressure of water in the roots and lower part of the shoot is high. This gradient of pressure creates a pull on the water molecules present in the roots to move upwards to the leaves to occupy the vacant space. The whole process is called transpiration.
