Verizon [17]
The answer to the question above is "B. less available tax revenue" based on the GDP calculation formula. The GDP calculation formula is stated as GDP = C + I + G + (Ex - Im) where C is consumers spending, i is investments, G is government spending, and (Ex - Im) is the difference between export and import. Identify statements true of glaciers. Choose one or more: A. Glaciers are found only in mountains. B. Glaciers are thick sheets
marin [14]

Answer: B. Glaciers are thick sheets of recrystallized ice.

D. Glaciers last throughout the year.

Explanation:

A glacier is a continuously moving ice mass. It is formed over many years in regions where snow falls more quickly than it melts and evaporates. They are not stationary, but move due to their weight.

A high number of glaciers exist in mountainous regions but glaciers are not limited to these areas. They also do form on land.

Glaciers currently cover about 10% of our planet, down from the last Ice age when 32% of land was covered in ice.

In which climate region do temperatures rarely drop below freezing? A. tundra B. Mediterranean C. highlands D. humid continental
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
The answer would be (B) Mediterranean. The Mediterranean climate stays between 60 and 30 degrees year round, and rarely dips below freezing. We can rule out tundra because it says below freezing year round. We can also rule out the highlands because the further up in elevation you go, the colder it gets. And finally, we can rule out the humid continental because its seasons are polar opposites. The humid continental has hot summers and freezing cold winters.
(Hope this helps!)
