A Pathogen, by definition is any organism that can produce disease(es). A pathogen can also be invoked as an "infectious agent", or even just a germ.

Essentially, a pathogen is what constructs disease molecules. When these diseases find a host, then the pathogen most likely will be inside of the host, and will spread, usually through the air and human contact.
