What is the difference between tints, shades, and tones?

Heyy!!

The difference between them is that they each give off a different afect on the art work you are doing. shadeing can make something lighter or darker, tints can just put a mark in something, and tones can give something more color or make different shapes.

Tones. So, white makes tints and black makes shades. ... Adding grey to a hue, which is a mixture of both black and white, creates a tone. Tones of hues tend to be closer in color to the original hue than tints or shades, but are much less vibrant that it.
