Aside from being one of the most functional unit of the brain the neurons transmits certain messages through the use of electrical and chemical signals to the different cells of the body towards the brain. The neurons are more popularly known as the nerve cells. There are billions and even trillions of neurons in the human brain and because of the neurons' accurate connections to the other neurons it is able to produce different actions.
