A straight line is 180 degrees:

25x + 8 + 9x + 2 = 180

Combine like terms:

34x + 10 = 180

Subtract 10 from both sides:

34x = 170

Divide both sides by 34:

X = 5

Now solve the smaller angle:

9x + 2 = 9(5) + 2 = 45 + 2 = 47

They angle with the y is a vertical angle to 47 so needs to also equal 47:

7y + 5 = 47

Subtract 5 from both sides:

7y = 42

Divide both sides by 7:

Y = 6

Answer: x = 5, y = 6

Write the equation of the graph shown below in factored form. a graph that starts at the top left and continues down through the
Brut [27]

Answer:

  (d)  f(x) = (x − 3)^2(x − 2)(x − 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

In this context, a crossing of the axis at x=p means there is a factor of (x-p). A "touch" of the axis at x=q means there is a factor of (x -q)^2.

A crossing at x=1 and x=2, and a touch at x=3 means the factors are ...

  f(x) = (x -1)(x -2)(x -3)^2 . . . . . matches the last choice

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Left

As near as I can tell, the question is x^(1/2) * x^(1/2) = The bases are the same, so all you do is add the powers.

x^(1/2 + 1/2) = x^1 which is just x.

Right

The is another one where the work is hard to show. The numerator (m) of the fraction is the power and the denominator (n) is the root. That sentence is all the work there is.

So you would write \sqrt[m]{x^{n} } = x^{\frac{m}{n} }
