Answer: Rome was an empire long before it was imperial. However, perhaps the key difference that the modern viewer sees between an imperial system and a republic is one of political participation and by extension legitimacy. ... The Roman Republic was based off a collection of documents that collectively acted as a constitution.

Explain and give an example of Delegated, Concurrent, and Reserved Powers in our Federal System of Government.
Nata [24]

Delegated Powers:

Delegated powers are specifically granted to the federal government in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution. This includes the power to coin money, to regulate commerce, to declare war, to raise and maintain armed forces, and to establish a Post Office.

Concurrent Powers:

Concurrent power is a political power independently exercisable by both federal and state governments in the same field of legislation. It is a power delegated to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution that is also held by the states.

Reserved Powers:

The reserved powers clause of the U.S. Constitution, found in the 10th Amendment, established that any power not specifically delegated to the national government reverts to the states.

Hope this helped :)
