The reason the reader of Frankenstein would most likely find Victor to be a sympathetic character is his misguided attempt to accomplish something great. Option D is correct.

The first option is not correct since Frankenstein does not feel empathy for his creation at all. In fact, he rejects it from the very beginning.

Victor Frankenstein is the main character in Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. He is an Italian-Swiss scientist who, applied everything he studied regarding chemical processes and the decay of living beings to the creation of life so that, he brought his own creature to life.

nikklg [1K]

Her childhood experiences gave her an understanding oh how to read and write poetry.

Explanation:

  • Angelou was called as Maya because her brother called her Maya when she was a child. When she was eight years old, she was raped.
  • To overcome the trauma, she started writing. She describes that in her autobiography. She became a writer after a series of occupations when she was young.
  • She has cited her experiences in her book which reveals that it is her own childhood experience.

Hey there!

Let's say I was to quote a book by Cardinal Cardigan I've read for an essay. (This isn't an actual book, just an example). The book contains the following sentence:

The reason that flowers are so beautiful is that they come in a variety of colors and scents that are appealing to many people.

In order to quote this, I would use the following formatting:

"The reason that flowers are so beautiful," states Cardigan, "is that they come in a variety of colors and scents that are appealing to many people."

Using this, your answer will be your first option.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
