Jefferson used the Enlightenment ideals in the Declaration of Independence such a natural right, birth rights, all men are created equal.

Explanation:

In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson operated the idea of "unfair rights" in similar to the idea of natural rights, which comes from Locke. According to him (Locke) there are many rights with which people are born and these rights cannot be taken away by the government.

Similar to Locke, Jefferson stated that all men (people) are created with equal rights and they should be treated equally. Thus, this situation is helpful for the peaceful growth of country and citizens.

Why was the Spanish American war considered a turning point in American history
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

The brief war fought against the Spanish Navy and land forces in 1898 established the United States as a global, major navy and military power.

The war was fought in Cuba - the Caribbean - and in the Pacific.  If a century before American governments were not willing to join wars among European powers and pursued a cautious diplomacy, full industrialization, territorial expansion and a fantastic growth of economic might made the United States a player in world affairs to be reckoned with a century later. That´s why the Spanish-American war is a turning point in American history: the US would play a large role in world affairs from that moment on.

How did the heliocentric theory of the universe differ from the geocentric theory?
otez555 [7]
The heliocentric theory of the universe differed from the geocentric theory is that the heliocentric theory put the Sun in the middle of the Universe, whereas the geocentric theory put the Earth in the center, which was the go-to theory for the Church throughout a great deal of history.
