1894 Pullman Strike was much longer and violent than the 1892 strike at the Carnegie Steel Mill in Homestead.

In fact, the government on federal level had to get involved in the 1894 Pullman Strike because the strike was so powerful and the railroad company lost millions while the 1892 strike was exactly the opposite (stopped in its tracks early by the owner and he didn't lose much money).
