Do rise over run to get slope. The y-intercept is where the line on the graph crosses the y-axis.

You find the Y-Intercept by looking on the graph and finding where the line crosses the Y axis. You find the Slope by picking 2 point on the graph that the line intercepts and count how many up and how many over it is to each other, so it is basically Rise/Run. If you have to go down or to the left, it is a negative slope. If you have to go up or to the right, it is a positive slope.

frosja888 [35]

Answer:

Step-by-step expla3

x − 2 y < 10

Solve for  y .

Tap for more steps...

y > − 5+ 3 x 2

Find the slope and the y-intercept for the boundary line.

Tap for more steps...

Slope:

3 2

y-intercept:

( 0 , − 5 )

Graph a dashed line, then shade the area above the boundary line since

y

is greater than

− 5 + 3 x 2 . y > − 5 +3 x2

Find the missing side length, and enter your answer in the box below. If
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

If you know two other sides of the right triangle, it's the easiest option; all you need to do is apply the Pythagorean theorem:

a² + b² = c²

if leg a is the missing side, then transform the equation to the form when a is on one side, and take a square root:

a = √(c² - b²)

if leg b is unknown, then

b = √(c² - a²)

for hypotenuse c missing, the formula is

c = √(a² + b²)
