In Japan the policy of closed country still has some effects. There is a sort of rule that makes people from abroad have six months to take Japanese classes, time to study and to get use to daily life in the country. However, some refugees that are affected by the rule have said that 6 months is a very short time to learn a language. Likewise, refugees must present an exam about their career, this exam will determined if they can stay or they must return home.

The effect was that Japan was technologically stunted. In the late 1800s when most industrialized nations had guns, factories and steel ships, Japan still had Samurai, swords, farms and wooded boats. They found themselves needed to upgrade quickly or be conquered.

What is the "fact-value dichotomy" that emerged in the Enlightenment and lies at the foundation of modern Western culture? What
nadya68 [22]

Answer and Explanation:

The "fact-value dichotomy" that emerged from the Enlightenment was the use of reason against the factors that built the old regime, such as the absolutist monarchy, the deprivation of commercial freedoms and the use of religion to respond to human difficulties. This impacted Christianity because it caused people to abandon the temples and the offerings provided to find a solution to their economic, social and political problems, preferring to seek solutions through study and science.

This caused the Christian church to lose much of its power and influence and reduced its economic condition.

This dichotomy shows how my future career should be based on the search for information and constant improvement, which will allow society to see it more widely and allow me to have a much better future.

Which best explains how the invention of corporations contributed to the economy in the 1800
Anastasy [175]

Invention of corporation contributed to growth of the economy through pooling of resources and limiting of liability to the owners. For instance, the Supreme Court ruled that a private corporation is a natural person under the U.S. Constitution, with the same rights and protection extended to persons by the Bill of Rights, including the right to free speech.
