An author's organization does not normally change when the author choses a particular genre. For example, whether a story is horror or romance, it would most likely follow a structure of exposition-rising action-climax-falling action-denoument. However, the purpose would be different in different genres (ex. to evoke fear, to cause pity, to create suspense) as well as the choice of details that contribute to this purpose.
