Answer:  If someone is really an untrustworthy person, then its best to know that before you. The public should not care at all, except as it affects the politician's public life. Our current president said many things to get elected and is now If an official is percieved to have poor judgement in his personal life it may it may make sense to infer his judgement may be flawed in his official capacity. On the other hand we are all sinners and I do beleive we can all be more acccepting of other people’s in adequacies. It’s easier to see the speck in another person’s eye than the log in one’s own.

What is the practical effect of the First Amendment in US society and governance today?
Deffense [45]

The First Amendment protects you freedom of speech, religion, and peaceful assembly, and more like this. The best answer from these option seems to be C. It prohibits both the federal government and state governments from passing laws that abridge the freedom of speech.  No one in the U.S has the right to revoke your freedom of speech.

I hope this helps! :)
