Children in poverty not only don't have enough food to eat or clothes to wear - most don't get proper education and, no matter how hard they work, most don't get past elementary school.
Many organizations help address children in poverty. For example, Freerice.com, a website where you can do questions to give rice to the hungry and poor, is a good example of this.

The people would respond favorable to a change in leadership if the current government fails to do what they said they would do (the positive things at least), fail to even do the minimum, or the people just don't like the current leader for one reason or another
