You are going on a road trip over a distance of 3000 kilometers with three friends. The car consumes 6 liters of gas per 100 kil

ometers and gas costs 1. 20 per liter. If you want to split the cost of gas evenly between the four of you, how much should each of you chip in?

You should chip in $37.50.

You should start off by dividing 3000 by 100 to find out how many 6 liters of gas there are.

That should get you 30 then you multiply 30 by 6 to get 180 which is how many liters were used.

After that, you divide 180 by 1.20 to find out how much money you need to pay for the gas.

The answer you'd get for that is you and your friends all need to pay $150
You'd then divide 150 by 4 to get 37.50 which is also how much you need to pay

Right trapezoid WXYZ is shown. Right trapezoid W X Y Z is shown. Sides X Y and W Z are parallel. Angle W is 73 degrees and angle
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

∠WXY = 107°

Step-by-step explanation:

In a trapezoid, adjacent angles are supplementary, meaning they add up to 180°. ∠W and ∠WXY are adjacent, so they are supplementary. 180° - 73° = 107°.

Another way to do this is to know that there are 360° in a trapezoid. This is a right trapezoid, so two of the angles are 90°. One angle is 73°. 90° + 90° + 73° = 253°. 360° - 253° = 107°.

I hope this helps :))
