Who is most helpful to Telemachus

English
1 answer:
Tasya [4]3 years ago
5 0

The most helpful character to Telemachus is Athena. In Odyssey, Athena is the one who advises Telemachus to start searching for his father and encourages him to not lose hope. However, she tells Telemachus that he needs to grow up quickly to find his father. Throughout the story, Athena protects and helps Telemachus as much as she protects his father by teaching him how to be responsible and confident. Moreover, the goddess also encourages Telemachus to stand up to the suitors of his mother since they have been behaving badly in Odysseus' home.

Tell me something about how you celebrated your last birthday
Lera25 [3.4K]
I celebrated my last birthday just like an ordinary day. Usually I don't go on the thought of celebrating special days, but only when there are certain people involve. Celebrations, on my perspective, become nice and warm when people are celebrating it with the celebrant. These people aren't just ordinary people but people with whom you have shared experiences with and most especially, people that you treat as important, special, and close to your heart. As I celebrated my last birthday, it wasn't that much.

Barbara Kingsolver establishes the style of the novel by using phrases like "ugly as a mud stick fence," "pie-faced heavy girl,"
ivanzaharov [21]
I think that the author intended D. to give the reader an understanding of life in Missy's rural Kentucky town.

The author's use of phrases like "ugly as a mud stick fence," "pie-faced heavy girl," "for-pay ironing," and "dressed like an eye test." is simply to show how Missy thinks and speaks. She is a girl who is brutal and honest in her opinion and she doesn't mince words. She just tells what she sees as it is.

Which sentence accurately uses the homophones “your” or “you’re”? Don’t forget to pick up your homework before you leave. I know
Makovka662 [10]

On the one hand, your is a possessive and means that something belongs or is related to "you", whoever that subject is. On the other hand, you're is a contraction. It is short for "you are" that includes the personal pronoun you and the conjugated verb to be. Therefore, the sentence that accurately uses the homophones "your" and "you're" is: Don’t forget to pick up your homework before you leave.
