The Civil Rights Movement was a fight to gain the same law rights in the USA particularly in the 1950-60s. Slavery has formally been abolished while the Civil War, but violence against the Blacks never ceased— the crippling effects of racism, particularly in the South, have been continued.
In the mid-20th century, racism and brutality against African Americans were more than necessary. Including many white people, they united and started a two-decade unparalleled struggle for equality.
It helped the African Americans to gain equality of rights.
Although all Americans had earned a voice, it was challenging for blacks in southern states. Sometimes they included voting assessments that were ambiguous, deceptive and almost impossible to obtain.
