   It means that no matter how bad things can be in life, always strive to do good.  If you try to be a good person and do what you can for others you will be remembered for it.  Being remembered as one who was such a positive person is a wonderful way of being thought of.

If I had to live through this, then I know that I'd hate it, but it would teach me so many things such as hard-work, respect, and even self-discipline. This would teach me to be more respectful to my parents and to understand what they did for me. I wouldn't really like it, but I'd understand my obligations.
