We were far away from Germany, Italy and Japan. Water seperated the U.S. from the attacking countries so it was harder for them to attack the U.S.
Well this is basically how I would explain this to him
There is really no reason to be worried this isn't a good thing but it ie also not a bad thing either basically the earths atmosphere is changing and the titonic plates are moving so the earths crust will recreate new states and make more islands like hawaii
Dark Matter only: detected through its gravitational attraction, has mass, most common form of mass in the halo of the Milky Way Galaxy, likely to consist of subatomic particles
Dark Energy only: inferred to exist from the measured acceleration of the universe's expansion, the proposed source of a universal repulsive force
BOTH: the universe contains more of this than it contains matter made from atoms, we do not know what it is made of
NEITHER: blocks light from stars behind it, "dark" because it emits only infrared light
Answer: the indians and white men would have conflict with buffaloes because they would both hunt for food and it was basically a first come first serve

Answer:
D.) Cold treeless lands
Explanation:
Canada is the second largest country in the world. It occupies slightly less than half of North America. The country is located on a high latitude though, so its climate conditions are not the best, as the country in general is very cold.
The northern 40% of the country though are even colder than the rest of the country. This part of Canada falls into the tundra biome. It is area where the winter dominates for most of the year. The summer is not summer in the real sense of the world, as it is very short and relatively cold as well. The temperatures in this part of Canada are very low. The landscape is covered with ice and snow for most of the year, and there are strong, cold, dry winds.
Because the climate conditions are like this, this part of the country doesn't have trees. Instead, in the short ''summer'', the plants that dominate are very small ones that don't require much to survive. The plants that manage to survive in these conditions are mostly mosses, lichens, dwarf shrubs, and algae.
