The correct answer is C. Describe a time when

Explanation:

In writing, an argumentative text and therefore an argumentative writing prompt is one in which you are asked to provide reasons, arguments, and evidence to prove a position or opinion. This means argumentative writing prompts include statements such as "support your position/opinion" or "provide reasons in favor/against". However, in the case of "describe a time when" this prompt can not be classified within the argumentative writing as in this prompt you are asked to describe events (descriptive writing) but not to provide reasons to support an idea which is the main purpose of argumentative writing.

Answer:

OA. I went to look for my watch, but I can never seem to find the time.

Explanation:

A pun is usually a comical play on the actual statement itself. There usually two elements that are inter connected to each other in some way.

Let's look at A: watch and time correlate since a watch tells time. The statement is ironic the speaker doesn't have his watch, therefore figuratively but maybe actually as well "doesn't have the time". It's therefore a pun.

B: It's a different figurative language technique, but I'm not sure what it is. 100% sure it's not a pun though.

C: it's a metaphor. It's a comparison between two things, in this case the novel was so well explained it had he accuracy of hitting a nail directly on the head.

D: That's just a statement, maybe a poetic quote.

Answer and Explanation:

Thoreau claimed that it was fair to promote civil disobedience when the government promoted malefic laws that promoted the return of humanity. This concept was also defended by Martin Luther King, Malala, among other great thinkers who fight against unjust and harmful laws. We can confirm that the rejection of these types of laws and disobedience are essential to prevent those laws from continuing in a region. In this case, civil disobedience as a form of resistance to the denial of rights must be defended, but it must be defended, a time that the laws must attend to the will of the people.
