The practice of enclosure refers to the time in England when legal fencing was put around lands held by landowners to demarcate the area personal land owned.

Explanation:

This was done to limit the access of commoners to personally owned lands. Also, converting the lands to farms and demarcating it helped the landowners to employ farmers. They enjoyed the fruit of the peasants labor by earning profits from only enclosing personal estate lands and putting them to arable use by renting out pieces of land to peasants and farmers.

African Civilizations?
Lelu [443]

Answer:Four major areas of civilization emerged in early Africa: the grasslands south of the Sahara, western Africa, the northern desert regions, and eastern Africa.  Each area was unique, but the regions became more interconnected as a result of two major developments: the domestication of the camel and the arrival of Islam in Africa.  The camel facilitated trade over long distances, including the vast Sahara Desert, while Islam connected Africa more closely to cultures and trade systems in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
