Speaking is a way of communicating. When we talk with someone, the person came to know about where we are from (It can tell whether we are from England or America). Even through our accent of speaking is only in America or of British, the way of speaking varies from states to states.
Also one can know from which region of US we are from. Speaking in English shows our etiquette and our education level. The way of speaking also depends on the person we are taking to, if the person standing infront of me is my boss or my senior then i should be formal or when i am talking with my friends we can be informal while taking with them.
