Answer:

Advances in health care technology are not only restricted to electronic devices and digital applications, but also include alternative technologies designed to improve people's lives.

It is a fact that technology in medicine is transforming health care and the way doctors relate to patients. The automation of procedures, strengthened by the arrival of the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), profoundly interfere with the way medicine is applied. These changes impact from the teaching of the profession, through the practical action of the doctor to the prevention and treatment of diseases.

Advances in equipment and diagnostics also enable more accurate and safe procedures in most treatments. Even simple procedures, such as a suture, can be improved with technology. Through state-of-the-art equipment, the doctor can see the entire human body in three dimensions and clearly, which makes interventions quick and timely. For example, some hospitals are using Augmented Reality and 3D imaging technology to perform surgery. Especially in delicate regions such as the brain and eyes, this tool makes doctors' work less uncomfortable by preventing only microscopes from being used. And as time goes on, medicine becomes more accessible, allowing new technologies to be available to everyone. Other technologies, mainly focused on treatment and recovery, are increasingly present in the health area. Examples are the use of games (gamification), virtual reality and rehabilitation equipment.

Technology applied to health is also capable of generating indirect benefits to patients and direct to the healthcare professional and his staff, making medical practice much more efficient and enjoyable. Whether through process digitization or software that simplifies finances or running a general clinic, the use of technology focused on management and efficiency enables the healthcare professional to focus on their primary goal - patient care.

Doctors, researchers and other professionals in the field are convinced and hopeful that the use of technology in health is the way forward for medical progress.
