The present perfect tense is the word Threw
Ethos is a rhetorical device used to establish the authority and trustworthiness of a speaker. "Someone told me..." (without emphasis on who "someone" is or why their opinion is credible) is not an ethical appeal.
Friend 1 asked” so friend 2 what did you do” they went on to explain what they did” oh we went to NYC to see the ball drop!” Friend 1 responds “ooooh nice we had a pool party”
In slope-intercept form, y=mx+b, m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. Depending on where the line passes through the y axis, it would be y=-2/3x+b (the y intercept.)
Point/slope form is y-y sub1 = m(x-x sub1), again m is the slope of the line. (x sub1, y sub1) is a pair of any points that are on the line. For example, the equation y-2=3(x+1) is for a line with a slope of 3 and the line goes through the coordinates (-1,2).
Standard form is Ax+By=C, where A, B, and C are integers. For example, 2x+5y=7.
Hope this helps— hard to explain when I can’t see the line :/
