After World War II, it was already the American Occupation era in Japan. The American government restructured the government of Japan after its fall in WWII.  It is also believed that the American Occupation was intended to eradicate imperialism and disarm the military to avoid another war. The American Occupation results in the foundation of democracy and powerful economy, known today as the modern Japan.
