What is the primary porpose of an introduction
lesya [120]

Answer:

to introduce the claim

Explanation:

I'm a senior, and I've heard my English teacher say this a million times, the purpose of the introduction is to introduce a claim/viewpoint. Yes, you can introduce the author, but that isn't the PRIMARY purpose. The hook goes at the bottom of the introduction, but also isn't the primary purpose. The topic kind of goes throughout the essay.

Why is klipspringer unable to refuse gatsby’s request that he play the piano?
Stolb23 [73]
The real reason is that Klipspringer is his private piano player and he never left the party. Have in mind that Klipspringer is an uninvited boarder in one of Gatsby's many opulent guesthouses. Klipspringer is a very interesting character due to the fact that he is a shallow freeloader who seems almost to live at Gatsby's mansion, taking advantage of his host's money.
