D) She should remind him of the rules for discussion and ask him to provide supporting information. It is best if the moderator accepts his wishes, but to have him provide supporting details. You can't just say that it is dumb, you need to back it up at least.

The correct answer is D. She should remind him of the rules for discussion and ask him to provide supporting information.

Explanation:

In discussions, one of the main common purposes is to share opinions and perspectives about a topic or situation to make a decision. In this and in almost any kind of the discussion a position or point of view needs to be supported with reliable evidence rather than just based on personal opinions.

This rule has been followed by Angel and Lola who present their ideas based on the budget and logical reasons; however, in the case of Donnie he does not present any evidence but his intervention is mainly based on personal judgments and because of this, the moderator who is the person that guides the discussion should ask him to give support for his position and probably reminds him or the rules for discussion not only because he did not provide support but also because his use of language was rude and attack other ideas.

What is the order of first, then, last , and next
Goshia [24]

The correct order of first, then, last and next:

Well, think about it: First means, well, first - in the beginning. So we can leave first where it's at.

Now, where do you think last would go? In the back, right?

Wait a minute! We're not finished yet!

Just switch the then and next so that they're in opposite places:

Your words should now look like this -

First, next, then, last --

I'll give you an example using all these words in a tiny paragraph.

First, Mary went to the store.

Next, when she got there, she bought a gallon of milk.

Then, she left the store.

Last, she arrived home and drank some of her milk.

How do the themes of religion and identity develop over the course of the poem and interact or build on one another to produce a
Step2247 [10]

Throughout the poem, Phillis Wheatley used the themes of religion and identity to develop the poem that being African or black does not imply that the person was a devil and not worthy of salvation.  She clamored for racial equality in America.

  • She clarified that skin color does not define who a person is.  In the poem, <em>"On Being Brought from Africa to America," </em>Wheatley established that there must be liberty and racial equality for all, including African Americans.

  • She expressed the hope that since God had had mercy on humankind (the white race, in particular), the Whites should be merciful enough to accept Blacks and allow them to gain salvation in Christ Jesus too.

  • She was particularly happy that her enslavement and <em>being brought to America</em> has opened the way of salvation in Christ Jesus for her.  This experience should not be obscured through unnecessary racism.

Thus, Phillis Wheatley produced a complex account in this poem by using the themes of her Christian religion and African identity to profusely interact with and build on one another.
