Nastasia [14]

Answer:

It could be stated that there are two settings in the story. On the one hand, 1595 through 1596 Athens which is first introduced and then the forest. It seems that both locations are relevant because they help to portray the relationship between reality and fantasy or dream. In these setting , there might be also reflected the motifs of the play which show conflicts and magic.

Which of Dee's actions in "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker is in line with the following description of her character?
Ksivusya [100]
In my opinion, the correct answer is A. changing her name. As described by her mother, Dee has always been committed to fads, even when it comes to something as trivial as fashion. So, when she changes her name, she interprets it as an act of going back to her African roots. But the reader can't help but think that it's just because she is an educated African American woman under the strong influence of contemporary social movements, so she might be doing it because it's fashionable, and not because it's right.
